Resolved: Messing with internal Zotero files of Firefox add-on

Hi

I've got a few problem with the Dutch translation of de APA6 CSL, most notably its use of "e.a." instead of "et al.".

Now I kind of figured out where the translation file is stored and how to edit it. However, when I do so, Firefox detects the signature to be broken and consequentally I can no longer use the Zotero add-on.
Firefox Developer Edition is the only version that allows to change the setting that enables unsigned add-ons from being run. Unfortunately, that version isn't 100% being supported...

So does anybody know how I can make it so that the Dutch translation is "et al." instead of "e.a."?

In general you might find the Zotero wiki a useful resource for doing advanced stuff like editing styles. Regarding using a custom file, see this https://www.zotero.org/support/dev/citation_styles/style_editing_step-by-step#install_your_edited_style_with_zotero

Thank you, but I don't need to change the CSL, I need to change the zotero.properties file for the nl-NL version or add my own nl-BE version without corrupting the signature of my Firefox addon...

"CSL styles rely on a shared set of language-specific CSL locale files. Localization data can also be embedded in the styles themselves to override the data stored in these locale files."

Apparently this might be helpful after all... I am trying to figure out how to :)

I'm done figuring it out! It worked.

For anyone who stumbled upon this topic, this is how I did it :-)
