Upgrade StorageZotero doesn't save author names anymore

I have the following problem:
My computer was recently upgraded to Windows 10 and I had to reinstall Zotero. Now, all of a sudden, the references are not saved correctly anymore. Zotero does not seem to recognise the authors and sometimes not even the file/title. So, for example, I end up with a saved item called "doi:10.1016/j.pbiomolbio.2006.02.018 - zotero://attachment/561/" instead of the title and no author name or year. I tried this with a lot of different journals, both directly from pubmed or the journal webpage as well as PDFs. It doesn't even save the items correctly that are already in my bibliography, if I open and save them again.
It happens both with the Firefox extension and the standalone version.
Does anyone have an idea what might cause the problem and can explain (in simple words - not a computer specialist) how to fix it? Your help would be very much appreciated!!
