Customizing "Rename File from Parent Metadata" naming format

    With this same "rename from parent metadata" function, is it possible to change the naming style? Most of the documents I share are named:
    "Author, Journal, Year - short title" where as Zotero names it "Author, Year - truncated title"

    Is possible to manipulate this currently or possible to add into future release?

    There's a hidden pref for this (extensions.zotero.attachmentRenameFormatString) but it was never extended to allow other fields. The third-party ZotFile has more advanced renaming functionality:

    (If somebody wants to work on adding more advanced renaming support to Zotero proper, I'd be happy to work with them on that. Not sure when we'll get to it otherwise.)
