How do I search for and add stuff automatically?
Hi,
I'm new to Zotero and am having trouble figuring out how to search for things to add to my library without manually typing the metadata in. I used to use RefMe and would simply paste in a URL or type in a book name and the results would pop up for me to add to my collection. I need MS Word integration so I switched to Zotero.
I noticed a search option based on the ISBN, DOI, etc. but is there no way to do this with just the name of the book? I have the web clipper installed which does work but I really just want to be able to search for things quickly. I feel like it is possible but I've just not figured out how to do it. I'd really appreciate any help :)
Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I was trying to search for a collection of PDF files I was sent. To me surprise, I found that if I import the PDFs, I can get Zotero to extract all of the metadata automatically - it was like magic! Anyway, thanks again. I'm really happy with Zotero and I can't wait to use it for my thesis :).
