how to cite secondary references in Zotero?
Apologies if this question has already been raised/resolved, but I'm not seeing how to enter a citation for a work cited within another work, e.g, a DrugBank ref cited within a PubChem compound.
Can Zotero nest refs in this way? If not, how to handle? Besides avoiding secondary sources in the first place.
Thanks
Vinette

adamsmithZotero can't really. One common approach would be to add the primary citation -- which after all you're not actually consulting -- as a prefix to the citation, i.e. something like (DrugBank as cited in PubChem 2016a) where "DrugBank as cited in" would be in the prefix. The DrugBank references doesn't show up in the list of references this way. I think that's the right approach, but people disagree on that.
