Add a book section item under a book item?

    Yes, with Zutilo (addon for Zotero).

    You can right-click on the item and duplicate it, then change the new item's type to Book Section. You can connect the two items together using the Related Items feature. The Zutilo plugin adds an item to the right-click menu that does this all with one step.
