perte des citations après fermeture de Word

bonjour,

  • That typically happens when you save the Word file in an unsupported format (e.g. .odt or .rtf) or when you open and save it with software that doesn't support saving Word fields, such as LibreOffice, Pages, or Word Online (which is also what Dropbox uses).

  • To get the old citations back -- no unfortunately. You'll have to re-insert those. Going forward, the recommended method would be to save as .doc or .docx instead (but then make sure not to open/save the file in LibreOffice). If you do need to work with both LibreOffice and Word, select "Bookmarks" under "Set Document Preferences" in the Word/LibreOffice add-on, but note that Bookmarks are a lot more prone to break when you, e.g. edit text immediately surrounding them.

Allow me to state what is obvious to some but may not be to others.

Documents writen using LibraOffice / Open Office should _not_ be saved as .doc but should stay in .odt format.

Even when using 'bookmarks' working with both LibreOffice and Word often means sharing documents. When I share a document, I always 1) make a copy, 2) remove field codes from the copy; and 3) share the copy -- usually as a pdf document. This is especially important if the person receiving the document uses citation management software other than Zotero. My practice is more work but assures that I always retain my document with live Zotero codes. The recipient can annotate the shared documend and you can make necessary changes to your working document.
