Zotero Beta 5.0 stopped working in Firefox 50.0 Ubuntu 16.10

Hi,

I have had Zotero Beta 5.0-Beta.r79+ebc01db running successfully in Firefox 50.0 on Ubuntu 16.0 for a month, even with LibreOffice integration working perfectly as well.

But suddenly Zotero has stopped working properly.

1. The toolbar button for adding items to Zotero is greyed out and doesnt work.
2. The add item by identifier doesnt complete lookups on inputting an identifier

I can add web pages by right clicking in the web page panel and select save.
Other Zotero functions are working.

do you have any other add-ons installed in Firefox? Have you tried disabling them?

Hi,

I have lastpass and adblock, as well as Zotero's Libre Office connector.

I'll try disabling, then removing the first two and report back.

So maybe a pattern emerging.

I'll keep an eye on things and see how this proceeds. Ill reach out on twiiter and see if others having same problem,

Try the latest build, r81. If you're still having trouble with that, a Debug ID for an Add Item by Identifier attempt that fails might be helpful. (Try to make sure a sync isn't running at the time, since it generates a lot of extra output.)

Hi Dan,

r81 seems to solve the problem. Adding by toolbar button, adding by identifier and adding by menue is ok.
