missing records/bad sync?
I have zotero firefox plugin and zotero standalone installed on 2 machines. I generally use only the plugin/online version.
I now find that the plugin reports different records on the 2 machines - that my backup machine is not reporting records acquired during the past week or so. I just dont see them, even though I'm not using the standalone
surely the server version should always be identical. both machines appear to be syncing.
thoughts on resolving this issue? and why it occurs?

rgaster5thanks. I'm now pursuing a theory that this is caused by dropbox: my data directory has been located within dropbox thus gets synced by drop box as well a zotero.now moving directory out of dropbox.

adamsmithoh yeah -- you can't do that. As long as you have your data directory in Dropbox, all types of stuff can (and likely will) break.
