Error message when starting Zotero Standalone

I have been using Zotero Standalone with no problems for a few years now. When I tried to open it today on my Mac laptop, I am getting the following message: "There was an error starting Zotero." Zotero Standalone on my Mac Desktop is working fine.
I tried to restart the computer twice with no success.

OK, so I just followed this advice.

Open Terminal in /Applications/Utilities (or open it using Spotlight).
Go to the Terminal menu and open Preferences. In Settings→Window, make sure Scrollback is set to “Limit to available memory”.
Paste the following into the terminal and hit return.
    /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/MacOS/zotero-bin -app /Applications/Zotero.app/Contents/Resources/application.ini -jsconsole

I was able to open Zotero. But when I closed it and opened it again, I continued to get the error message.
I couldn't find Settings > Window in the Preferences menu. So was not able to complete that step. Perhaps that is the problem? Any ideas where I can find that if it's not in Preferences?

I figured it out! I had to download the latest version of Zotero so that I could open it successfully without going to Terminal. Now it's working. Disregard previous messages!
