in text citation going haywire in Word
I am attempting to edit a manuscript that I have been working on over the last year. I had no previous issues with this document (Microsoft Word) but as of last week, when I attempt to do anything at all with my citations, it appears to switch them over to the full field code (I will include an example below). I updated my plugin on Firefox and updated the plugin (I believe) for Word so I am at a loss for what is happening. This also happens on new documents now.
example of the first part of the text I am seeing in my manuscript:
{ADDING ZOTERO_ITEM CSL_CITATION{"citationID":"aamb7kg44","properties":["formattedCitation":"(Bowman et al., 2009):},"plainCitation...
this continues on for about 25 lines
I attempted to copy and paste it here, but in an infuriating curve ball, it pastes what I was hoping to see in the manuscript itself, which is (Bowman et al., 2009) and no more.
Any thoughts as to what is going on?
