Install libre office / open office plugin in macos sierra?

edited October 17, 2016
I can't seem to do it - probably because I need 32-bit JRE and can't get that to install either? Anyone having those issues? Hope I'm not overlooking another thread.
  • I have the same problem please help:)
  • Paulo did it work for you before the update to Sierra? Or before the update to a certain version of Libre Office?
  • I just checked "enable experimental features" in libre office, settings, advanced and it works - phew....
  • In case this helps anyone else here's how I got Zotero, Sierra and LibreOffice 5 to work together on a new install.

Install latest JDK from Oracle. I installed Java 8.121.
When this is installed open terminal and type 'java -version'. This prompts install of a JRE.
Now open Libreoffice and check whether the JRE is listed in 'Preferences > LibreOffice > Advanced'.
Now close LibreOffice and try installing the Zotero word processor integration.
