Problem when using Zotero and a .dotm template
Hello,
I work as a librarian at University of Limoges (France), and we supply Word templates to our students, so they can write their thesis or other documents in an easier way.
A web technician colleague of mine created the templates, which include a customized tab, macros and control contents. We noticed an issue occurring when using those templates and Zotero together : when re-opening a document made using the template, our customized tab appears twice, and the control contents are set to Design mode by default, which makes them difficult to use.
Here is an example with simplified templates to understand the issue better :
Template # 1 :
- modele1.dotm
- test1.docx : document made using the template.
That template includes no macro.
-> Screenshot-> That template works fine.
"Unilim" customized tab is part of the template, and not of the docx file -> if test1.docx is used alone, i.e. with no link to the template, then there is no customized tab appearing.
-> ScreenshotTemplate # 2:
- modele2.dotm
- test2.docx : document made using the template.
In that template, we added a macro sbHello in module 1.
-> Screenshot
1) TemplateProject(Modele2) then appears twice -> without Zotero plugin, it appears only once.
2) The "Unilim" customized tab appears twice (the Unilim tab code is included in test.docx and also in modele2.dotm) -> without Zotero plugin, the Unilim tab code is included only in modele2.dotm, and the tab shows in the document only if there is a link between test2.docx and modele2.dotm).
-> Screenshot3) In test2.docx, the content controls are then set to Design mode by default as soon as test2.docx is opened.
-> ScreenshotDo Zotero developers have an idea how to solve that issue ?
Thanks in advance.
