Zotero installs, but no toolbar appears in Firefox--missing zotero toolbar

I've tried downloading the beta 1.5 version a couple of times--cleared the cache between, uninstalled and then re-installed. Shouldn't I see a Zotero toolbar somewhere... ? I'm running firefox 3.0.7 on Mac 10.5. I have a google toolbar also installed. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Zotero isn't a toolbar like google is. Do you see a zotero icon in your status bar? If not, refer to:
