Sharing database between different versions of Zotero

I switched to the PaleMoon browser and Zotero 4.0.22 (the last version that worked with PaleMoon) because FF gradually bloated beyond my laptop's capacity. However, at work I still use recent FF and the freshest Zotero.

Are there any dangers of sharing database and attachments between different versions of Zotero?

Thanks,
Artem
  • Using out of date versions of Zotero is highly discouraged and might cause you various problems. Certainly when Zotero 5.0 is released in the coming months, you will not be able to continue using 4.0.22. Your better bet would be to install Zotero Standalone on your laptop then just use the Zotero connector in Pale Moon/Chromium/Safari.
  • Though there isn't a connector for PaleMoon/Firefox, so that's a bit tricky.
