Double brackets showing on my citations.

The following is showing on my citations.

[(Bega Cheese, 2016)]

The two end [.........] brackets are in bold.

How do I remove these? The correct citation should be: (Bega Cheese, 2016).

I have tried everything.

Apart from the style, I wonder if this is Word bookmarks showing. What are your settings under "Set Document Preferences" in the Word add-on?

I have worked out the issue. When I first opened the document it asked what style I wanted to use and I selected the wrong style. I could not change this until I created a new document. I copied over the content to a new document and started again.
Its all good now.
