Possible to auto save?

Is there a setting that would allow whatever I type in a note to be saved, without my hitting the save button? If I even click away to another window and come back everything I've added to the entry is gone. Terrible UX.

    What version number of Zotero? Are you describing behavior of the website or of the Zotero standalone or the Firefox plugin? An old version (now fixed) had a problem with saves under very special circumstances. Save button? The local Zotero programs now auto-save frequently.

    I'd think this has to be online, right? I don't think Zotero notes in the software have ever had a save button.
