Zotero in Documents in Sierra
I keep my Zotero folder in the Documents folder rather than the profile directory. I find this easier for backup.
MacOS 10.12 Sierra has a new feature where the Documents folder is automatically backing up to iCloud, and syncing with other Apple devices.
On many previous threads I've seen warnings about putting the Zotero folder into Dropbox as when Dropbox uploads the folder it can get corrupted.
Do the same warnings now apply to putting the Zotero folder in the Documents folder of MacOS?

bwiernikYes. You should put it in your Home directory rather than in your Documents folder.
