How to Retrieve Library Folder?

Hello –

I have mistakenly deleted an important folder from my Zotero library, and I am desperately trying to retrieve it as it contains dozens of citations (plus attachments) that are essential to my work.

Does anyone have recommendations on how to retrieve this folder?

You probably only deleted the collection/folder, and the items that were in it are still in your library (see here: https://www.zotero.org/support/collections_and_tags). It would probably be easiest to make a new folder and drag the items from your main library view to the new folder.

If there are a very large number of items or you can't find them in your main library view, you can restore a backup of your library:

Thanks – I ended just searching my full collection for the principle term and recreating the collection.
