Search page disappeared
I would post this in the "updated forum" thread, but since I can't find it, I'll report it here.
https://forums.zotero.org/search gives a "Page Not Found" error (both when using the "Search" link in the sidebar or the searchbox at the top).
https://forums.zotero.org/search gives a "Page Not Found" error (both when using the "Search" link in the sidebar or the searchbox at the top).
Is it necessary to have both? I also assumed that the searchbox at the top would search the entire website (like I think it did in the past), but it just does forum search. Maybe a place-holder could say "Search forums"? (just like https://www.zotero.org/support/ says "Search documentation" in the search box)
https://www.zotero.org/ and https://www.zotero.org/getinvolved/ both say "Search support", while https://www.zotero.org/support/ says "Search documentation". But they all three perform the same search at DuckDuckGo ("site:www.zotero.org/support"). Can they all three say "Search documentation"?
First, in Firefox and Safari on macOS, the bottom "Sign In" link to log in to the forums has been broken for me for a while. I just get a small popup that has an "X" link on it: http://imgur.com/a/VKuEz
Only the "Log In" link at the very top of the page works for me.
Second, I noticed that in Firefox on macOS, the page navigation in "Participated" doesn't work. The URLs change (https://forums.zotero.org/discussions/participated, https://forums.zotero.org/discussions/participated?Page=p2&, https://forums.zotero.org/discussions/participated?Page=p3&, etc.), but the page doesn't update, and only shows the threads from the first page.
(My main remaining complaint with the new forum is that I'm still having trouble finding old forum posts, since I haven't been able to figure out how to search for multiple terms with AND instead of OR. But @dstillman indicated you might replace the forum's search engine, so I'll just cross my fingers for that to happen)
