WebDAV syncing and folder structure

I recently synchronised Zotero via WebDAV. I have noticed that the folder structure on my main computer has been jumbled around. It seems to resemble a previous order that I, however, have changed in the mean time.

I would prefer it if my new and preferred folder structure would by imposed to all secondary computers instead that an older folder arrangement is imposed on my current main computer after using WebDAV syncing with secondary computers.

(I hope you get my point.)
  • Can you tell us exactly what your setup is? I don't think you are looking at the folders Zotero uses to sync attachments over WebDAV. The file structure for file syncing (WebDAV or Zotero storage) isn't really human readable (e.g., right-click on an item and choose Show File).

When I speak of "folder structure", I mean the Collection and Subcollections in the left column of Zotero Standalone 4.0.29.10 in Zotero terminology.

I use my universities owncloud-based WebDAV for File Syncing.
