Libreoffice freezes when trying to insert bibliography

Hi there!

I am using the most current Zotero version (4.0.29.11) with the most current version of LibreOffice (5.1.5.2.) on OSX 10.11.06 (El Capitan).

Unfortunately, after everything worked well under Mavericks, I now have a problem when trying to insert a bibliography in LibreOffice. The add in for inserting a citation works, but whenever I click "insert bibliography", the LibreOffice freezes completely and has to be closed (which is only possible via Task Manager).

I upgraded LibreOffice and Zotero (the problem occurred in older versions and still isn't fixed under the current ones), tried to uninstall and reinstall the add ins, and I upgraded Java, and neither solution helped. I found an old thread where it was advised to delete the kde, but since I am using OSX, I don't use kde.

Is there any possible solution to this? I was thinking about changing to OpenOffice and trying it out there, but I really prefer LibreOffice, so it would be great if this could be fixed.
