LibreOffice Plugin Installation - java runtime not appearing
Hi there,
I am trying to install LibreOffice plugin but installation continues to fail.
I am running LibreOffice Version: 5.2.1.2 on Mac OS El Capitan.
I was missing java runtime environment (v8.101) so I installed that. However, working through the troubleshooting tips, the java installation does not appear in list box in preferences>advanced (java runtime is enabled).
I saw there was a known issue for 'LibreOffice 5.1 on Mac OS X El Capitan: No response from plugin'. So tried to install Java Development Kit (JDK) 1.8_91 but the direct link posted on https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting is bad (goes to a spammy betting site) and the only versions available from the Oracle site (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html) is Java SE 8u101 / 8u102.
Thank you for your help!
Aaron
