Clipboard text frozen since Standalone update

Having updated to the latest standalone version, everything was working well until after trying to produce a citation. Since that time, every time I try to copy and paste into Zotero, that last citation is now pasted in any field. Further, I can no longer import citations from the clipboard because that citation blocks any other copied text. The citation issue does not occur outside of Zotero.

Any advice on how to resolve this?
