Zotero Standalone not downloading citations from Chrome extension

Hi. Having used Zotero in Firefox originally, then more recently as the standalone version with the Chrome extension, I have generally been able to manage any challenges faced with the software. However, I've recently found that the Chrome extension has stopped downloading citations. Somehow, even on Elsevier or JStor pages, the Zotero icon in Chrome fails to illuminate. What do I need to do to reactivate it? Any help would be appreciated as I haven't seen this happen previously.

Hi, I was having similar problems with Chrome not "translating" articles from databases as it used to do (this happened for me in Scopus, Pubmed). It was only giving me a generic webpage save icon on a lot of the journal article pages I was looking at in Chrome.

You might try going into Standalone > Help > Check for Updates. Installing the latest update (4.0.29.10) seemed to resolve the Chrome translator issues for me. I'm a big Zotero user, but I was an update behind and that might do the trick for you, too.
