Style Request [Fungal Biology Elsevier]

Hello,

I cannot find this style anywhere, although the journal (Fungal Biology, ISSN: 1878-6146) has been mentioned in a post before (https://forums.zotero.org/discussion/16451/help-with-et-al-in-italics/). However, the post is dated, as is probably the accompanying style (it is different than what is currently used by the journal).

A document with detailed instruction to authors can be found at: http://cdn.elsevier.com/promis_misc/FUNBIO_Instructions_to_Authors.pdf

while an open access article from said journal to check for the format is available here: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1878614616000271.

The requested format is this:

Campbell JL, Pedersen OK, 2007. The varieties of capitalism and hybrid success. Comparative Political Studies 40: 307–332.

Mares I, 2001. Firms and the welfare state: When, why, and how does social policy matter to employers? In: Hall PA, Soskice D (eds), Varieties of capitalism. The institutional foundations of comparative advantage, Oxford University Press, New York, pp. 184–213.

I tried to play with it in the mendeley/zotero editor, but too many changes are necessary (my programming skills end at HTML tags) and it doesn't work very well regarding saving etc.; I would be very grateful if this style is added to the repository.

Thank you.

Tereza
  • @tereya42 and anybody else dropping in here,
Plant Pathology is a very good fit for this journal.

The journal itself is an Elsevier journal and should follow one of their citation styles, but it doesn't at all (bold volume).
Shall I just adapt the "Plant Pathology" one/or make it dependent (gotta check first) or should we just leave it for now?
  • Have you already adapted it? I just tried to use the "Plant Pathology" style of references in my paper and all seems to work well. Thank you!

There is a slight difference, which is the comma after the volume number and regarding the in-line citation.
I've made a style and it's currently under review. Should be up in the next day or two.
Please not that I added the DOI. While these don't appear in the final papers, Elsevier likes to have those included.

The style is now on the repository and available for Zotero et al.
