image does not show correctly in notes

I add a picture which is an attachment of item to a note of the same item, but the picture can not be shown correctly. It looks like a block in the note.

But when I create a reporter from this item, the picture is shown.

I use firefox 48, and the latest zotero.

Any help will be appreciated!

    I add a image as an attachment of a item.

    Then I edit a note of the item. And I want to insert the image to this note.

    So I choose "insert/edit image" on the note, and edit the popup box with URL of the image like "zotero://....".

    But the image shows up like a block.

    But I make a reporter from this item, the image in this note shows up correctly.

    Images don't display in notes (this used to work the way you do it, but was broken by a security update IIRC).
    Where are you getting the "insert/edit image" button on the note though? That shouldn't be there and I can't see one.

    I get the "insert/edit image" from right-click context menu. So images do not display in notes? Any workaround can fix it?

    Ah yes, there it is. I'm not aware of a workaround -- if you want to be hardcore, I think images do display via http, just not via local links, bet it file: or zotero: so you could put the images somewhere online and link to them, but while that's certainly "around," I wouldn't call it "work".
