Importing .ris files from my hand-crafted system
Hi,
For a couple of years I have been using my own system, based around .ris files to store files (many are industrial / non-academic and not on Google Scholar).
To save me work, most of the .ris files I craft in minimalist form e.g.
T1 - Document Title
AU - Author
PY - Year
KW - whatever
AB - Abstract
But Zotero does not accept that these are legal (refuses to import). I presume that's because there are insufficient entries i.e. the non-existent Journal etc.
What, then, are the minimum set of .ris entry fields Zotero needs / will accept?
Thanks!
:)
PS - just thought to add "End of record" i.e.
ER -
...no difference; refuses.

TY - JOUR

Now works by adding the TY group!
No need for ER; EOF by itself is OK. That means I can write a script to prefix all my .ris with a TY group and import the lot!
Thanks!
