Style Request - Vancouver (superscript, brackets, only year in date, no issue numbers)
Hi,
I'm wondering if this style already exists in the repository, as I can't seem to find one that matches. I am looking for Vancouver style with superscript, brackets, only year in date and no issue numbers.
In the repository there is Vancouver (superscript, brackets, only year in date) but it includes the issue numbers.
The journal that wants this specific format is RNA & Disease, which is also not in the repository, but perhaps there is another journal with the same format? Any help is appreciated

But I see other differences between R&D guide for authors and Vancouver (superscript, only year in date, no issue numbers) style. For example in the guide for authors I see no page for articles with doi; no page label for chapters in book; no cited date. Can you prepare a list of all differences between R&D and Vancouver (superscript, only year in date, no issue numbers) style? I can prepare the style for R&D and this list saves my time.
Thanks for the reply. I apologize if I don't have all of the necessary info. I only cited journal articles in my manuscript, so I only know the differences between the R&D requirements and Vancouver for journal articles.
In Vancouver style, it removes a space between the year semicolon and the volume number and abbreviates the page numbers. So instead of Comp Polit Stud 2007; 40:307-332 it comes out as Comp Polit Stud 2007;40:307-32. The space removal I don't think is a big deal, but abbreviated page numbers is different than R&D requirements.
Again, I'm not sure of all the differences between Vancouver and R&D for the other types of cited material.
