What is the maximum number of RIS records you can import into Zotero?

One of my cooperators seemes to have reached an upper limit with an import from Scopus 1400 RIS records.

Is there an upper limit?

    Not by design. RIS import isn't super memory efficient, so your machine might run out of memory (though 1400 seems very small for that. I'd have expected that clos>er to 10k the earliest, more likely >50k on a typical machine). Note that Zotero will freeze with non-responding during larger imports. That's not a sign of it failing; in that case just wait a bit longer.
