Can I use another person's Zotero Library on my computer?

I am editing my wife's book and need to access her Zotero library. What is the best way to do this without me losing or messing up my Zotero library? I can use one of her computers if I have to.

Either use her computer or use separate Firefox/Zotero profiles on your computer and sync that with her library. Both are perfectly safe.
