Multiple translator names

I have a reference which has been translated by two translators. It appears that it is only possible to enter one set of names (last name, first name) in the translator field. The buttons on the right that would allow you to add additional people (in the same way as is done for multiple authors) are greyed out in my implementation of Zotero. Would it be possible to enable them? (or have I missed something?) Thanks.

That'd be a bug if you can replicate it. It's certainly not by design
  • Richard: Are all of the add-creator (+) buttons greyed out, or is the last one in the overall list of creators still active?
  • The Info panel shows, in descending order:

    Item Type: Book
Title: A philosophical essay on probabilities
    Translator Truscott, F.W.
and the - button on the right is active but the + button is greyed out.
    Author: Laplace, Pierre Simon
and both - and + buttons on the right hand side are active
  • Ah, that's actually normal. Use the active (+) button to add a creator, and enter the second translator's name. Then click the label on the entry (Author) and change it to Translator. If you then want to move the second translator upward (you don't have to, it would only be for appearance's sake), right-click on the label will give you a menu for that.
  • That's great thanks! It works just as you describe.
