Where do I find my old references

Hej,
and I did reinstall my computer in the beginning of this week, and find a empty library. I have not used Zotero for a while before either but is now in need of it again. How do I 'import' the old library into the installed software and where can I find them?

Hard to say with little info, but this
https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data
should give you a place to start. Also check if your library is online (click on "My Library" at the top here). If that's the case, all you need to do is sync.

Hej again, I have synced and nothing happens, the library is still empty. What else can I do? I think I have saved a file with the referenecs at my computer (not with all the newest ones). Can I easily import them at least. Leaving for a meeting in some minutes....

Do you have a backup of your harddisk before system re-install?

Yes, I use box sync, so it should be a backup (I hope...)

OK, this https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#locating_your_zotero_library should help you find your old data director in your backup.

Then follow https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data#restoring_your_zotero_library_from_a_backup1 to restor from backup.
