Upgrade StorageI have a "ghost" footnote
that appears in my bibliography even though I have deleted it from the body of my paper. This is a problem as my paper has a 20-page limit, and it is currently over by...you guessed it...one footnote.

adamsmithUse alt+F9 to show field codes in Word (alt+FN+F9 on Mac) and you should be able to see ghosts the invisible note.
