In the published PDF, titles of the papers are reported in bibliographic entries, while in the CLS there are no titles.

Printed citation styles often differ from the style requested for submitted articles. Unless we receive editorial guidance to the contrary, we defer to the author instructions.

The AIP guide for authors does not include titles for numeric styles:

I believe this also matches the BibTeX style in REVTeX.

But also note that many PDFs do follow the title-less style. See, e.g. the very first article I saw on the site:
