Upgrade StorageError Report ID 849631571 - virus?
Hi,
I am having trouble syncing Zotero.
We ran an Avast boot scan last night and identified two files in the Zotero storage folder that seemed to be infected with JS:Redirector-BJB [Trj]. I deleted those two files.
Now when I open Zotero, Avast is telling me that a threat has been detected (same one as listed above) and Zotero won't finish syncing and the error exclamation mark appears. The Avast report says the PROCESS is C:\Program files (x86\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe and the URL is:

I have restarted my computer and the problem persists. What should i do?

dstillmanYou'll need to delete the associated item in Zotero and empty the trash. From your error report, you might be the item that shows up if you paste "NW22VT7V" into the Zotero search bar in "All Fields & Tags" mode, though it's hard to say for sure. (If you remember the name of the local folder where you deleted the files, it'd be that.)

spcbycatchExcellent, thank you. I searched on NW22VT7V in "All fields & Tags", deleted it then emptied the trash. Solved the problem.
