Can't Paste Text into Editor in Word

I am not able to paste text into the Zotero Word add-in interface if I copied the text from an existing footnote in Word. If I first paste the text into Notepad and then copy it in, it works just fine. If I paste text from other sources, it seems to work fine (haven't tested this extensively). (Context: I'm a new Zotero user and am contemplating moving all of my existing citations in my dissertation over to Zotero, so I'm primarily pasting page number ranges from my footnotes into Zotero citations.) Every time I try to paste text in, regardless of which field (e.g., Page, Prefix, Suffix)—as long as it was copied from Word—Zotero freezes, bringing both Word and Firefox to a screeching halt. The only way out to is to end the Word or Firefox process via Task Manager.

I'm running Firefox 3.1B2, Zotero 1.5B1, Word 2007, on Vista Home Premium x64.

Anyone else having this problem? Any suggestions?
