word 2016 for mac add-in

Hi, I am using word 2016 for mac, and I got the "add-in" button shown in ribbon, but I cannot cite anything since it always reports that "Word could not communicate with Zotero. Please ensure that Firefox is open and try again." I think I have never downloaded firefox at all. Can anyone help with me? BYW, I am using Zotero Standalone.
