Cannot get data from Omicsonline
Me: Firefox 43.0 with Zotero plugin.
URL: http://www.omicsonline.org/teratogenic-effects-of-glyphosate-based-herbicides-divergence-of-regulatory-decisions-from-scientific-evidence-2161-0525.S4-006.php?aid=7453
I tried importing using DOI data. It worked using "embedded metadata". If this item cannot be imported using DOI data the DOI icon should not be available in the Firefox toolbar.
Great product! Thank you!

(You should update to a current Firefox version, btw. That'd be either Firefox 46, or the current ESR version, which is Firefox 45.)
I have noticed that recently OMICS journal metadata quality has degenerated from not-so-good to essentially unusable. This week I found all article DOIs for an issue that link instead to another article in the same issue; the names of multiple author's all placed into a single name field; article metadata that omits the name of the first listed author; and other lesser but significant problems.
While this publisher is on Beal's List, some of its journals nonetheless publish valuable credible articles. The publisher seems to have a very active and successful press office because their articles often are mentioned in the popular press.
It could be useful if OMCIS received email messages from Zotero users pointing out the metadata problems. Maybe they will take appropriate action. I have written to the company about this and have received replies saying that they are doing what they can to fix any problems and that the issues are related to rapid growth and unprecedented success as a publisher. They get the metadata right for their journals that are indexed in PubMed. I can't understand why they cannot apply what works there to all of their journals.
