How to share my library of studies?

I'm making a library of studies published in journals. To let the public view it but not edit it do I make a public but closed group? Or is there something else I have to do?

I want to be the only editor, with the potential for adding an editor in the future for this library.
  • A group is the way to go and you can either make it public and closed or you can make it public and open but only allow administrators to edit (that's under library settings on this site.)

The main difference between the two is that for a closed group you can have attached files that you and invited members (but not the public) have access to, while for a public group people can join the group and sync its contents to their Zotero, making it much faster to add them to their library. I'd chose what works better for your purposes.
  • Thank you Adam!
  • Go to Library setting in your group and set up correct privileges how you need.

    My group is: https://www.zotero.org/groups/toxinsinfood

so the public should be able to see it, and search it, but not edit it.

I also figured out how to search on tags. :)

    Happy happy day!
  • your group _library_ is here https://www.zotero.org/groups/toxinsinfood/items
as you can see (on the left) you can filter and search by tags.
