Hi all,
This is the full error message I get every time I attempt to sync Zotero for Firefox:
"Error connecting to server. Check your Internet connection."
My internet connection is working fine. I haven't had any connectivity problems in Chrome or Firefox, and my streaming music app is working fine.
I just made a bunch of changes in a shared library, so it's really important that I get the sync function to work asap so the other person can access the database tomorrow.
Btw, I checked the database's integrity, and it said no errors were found.
Any ideas for what I should do? Thanks in advance for your help!

I just updated Adobe Reader and Microsoft Silverlight plug-ins in Firefox, and the sync error went away.
Is it really possible that the outdated plug-ins caused the sync error? I've never had that happen before.
I looked through my Firefox plug-ins and the only one I noticed that may relate to security (I don't really know...) is this one: IntelĀ® Identity Protection Technology 4.0.68.0
Is it possible the Intel Identity Protection Firefox plug-in is the problem?
I use a work-supplied laptop that uses ESET security, but I've had this laptop for several years and have never had a conflict between ESET and Zotero for Firefox.
The only other thing I can think of is the internet connection itself, but it doesn't sound like anything changed between the successful and unsuccessful try?
If this is working now, I'd probably not spend too much time on it and just enjoy that it's working. If this becomes a recurring issue, we can take another look.
