Missing Note (Accidentally Moved = Disappeared)

I was trying to move a PDF attached to an entry, and accidentally dragged a note instead. Now, I cannot find the note. Can anyone explain what happened, and how I might recover the note, which was quite extensive?

have you tried searching for the note in "All fields and Tags" format with "My Library" selected on the left?

Thank you! I had looked for it all over, and I had searched, but I had not searched precisely that way.

My problem: I tested losing a note after I found this one, but couldn't lose it outside the original folder. But I had moved it not when in a folder, but in a search. Then I tried that and I reproduced what I had done before, and it was just orphaned in My Library.

So: moving it orphaned it, in my case outside the folder. A search solved, as did looking for the note alphabetically in My Library.
