1904164101: accencted characters in pdf-names cause blank page instead of pdf in ff
Problem statement:
I have a document in my zotero database with the following name:
"Müller und Palekčić - 2005 - Bedingungen und Auswirkungen selbstbestimmt motivi.pdf".
When I open the file in Firefox via doubleclick, I get only a blank page displayed instead of the pdf.
How to reproduce:
1. Name a file as above
2. Open the file via doubleclick
3. Blank page
Workaround (3 possibilities):
1. Open in external viewer (may be conducted via right-click - context-menu in zotero). However, I want to open the file in Firefox.
2. Delete both letters č and ć from the author's name (or replace with "c") of the corresponding database entry. Deleting only one of the two letters does not help. However, you do have incorrect authors' names then.
3. Rename the pdf-file manually so that the two letters č and ć do not appear. When you then try to open the file via doubleclick in zotero, zotero will ask for the correct file and you may link it. However, this is annoying work.
Since the workarounds are simple and they function, I strongly assume the problem is caused by the accented letters.
My system: zotero 4.0.29.8, ff 45.0.2, windows 10
