after comments done in another comp. can't add citation

hi,

after addition of comments in another computer with Windows can't add citation on Mac,

When I press the button "Zotero Insert Citation" Word goes to open Firefox but the list of my bibliography doesn't show,

very very rarely the list of citation finally appear, but instead of inserting citation Word opens the article that I want to cite in Firefox, but citation is not inserted in text,

What can I do?

This is kind of hard to follow, but are you saying this is only happening in documents that have been used on another computer? In a fresh document everything is working?

And could you clarify what you mean by "list of my bibliography"

I have been working with the same Mac since may 2015,

never have problems like this,

when I open the document with comments done in Word in another computer the list of articles doesn't appear

there is no problem with new document, but I'm afraid that if I would copy and passed all the text to new document I could lose all comments,

"list of my bibliography" is the list of articles in Zotero which I added by "Save to Zotero (by Web Page)

what do you suggest me doing?

when you press alt+FN+F9 in a document that's not working anymore -- do you see a lot of code appearing where citations used to be (you should)? If not, try this in a new document that's working properly. Do you get the code (Zotero field codes in technical terms) there?

None of this is going to fix this, I'm just trying to understand what's going on.

if yes, it is not the issue, I know this problem,

it's something else,

in the beginning {Citation} appears, than numbers like 00.00.0000 00:00:00 appears, latter Word is frozen for long time, in the end Word gives a notification - there was a problem with updating your document, field is undefined"

I do mean field codes, but I do want to know if they appear and look normal for the broken document, in other words, I want you to make them visible (whereas normally we need to tell people how to hide them)

even when Zotero adds a citation, what happens very rarely, Word works very slowly,

I have 10gb RAM and i5 on Mac, so I don't suppose it the problem with hardware,

sth must be wrong

This is a document that's been edited with track changes? Would it be possible to accept all changes before inserting a citation?

I would prefer not accept because I must follow instructions from comments,

Do you think this it is the case?

If yes I will make a copy of comments, accept them all and than try to use Zotero
