I am unable to enter a footnote using Zotero; I get this message: [JavaScript Error: "couldn't open library

Please tell me what I need to do to fix this.

I'm using Firefox 45.0.2
Windows 7
Office MS Word 2013

    Yes, I have now done that but am still getting the error message (with that extremely annoying Windows boing sound):

    "Zotero experienced an error updating your document.

    [JavaScript Error: "couldn't open library ..."

    Still works in a fresh document?

    No, it will not work in a fresh document either.

    this has happened to a couple of users before and always been kind of mysterious and resolved itself just as mysteriously.
    You could try re-installing the Word add-on. If that fails, try a fresh Firefox profile, see if that works (you can just copy over your Zotero database or sync it).

    oh, also, this will happen when using the 64-bit version of Firefox. That might be the most likely cause?

    I must have been using the 64bit Firefox. I downloaded and installed the 32bit version and everything is working fine now. Many thanks.
    Will this be fixed sometime?
    I don't know what I'm giving up by using the 32 vs 64 bit, but I'd like to have the best from Firefox on my 64bit system.
