field for serials and option to sort by date of publication

Hi,
could you add a field for "serials" -- I would like to enter information on an entire set of journals, not just one article, and there are currently just the options to enter it as a "book" or as a single "journal article."

Also, it would be very helpful to have the option to sort the library by date of publication -- either ascending or descending -- not just by date added to the library...

As part of our future plans to revamp our data model, this functionality will eventually be available (in the coming months, but not immediately).

And sorting by publication date in the middle column has already been implemented on the development branch and will be available in the next beta version.
