Find or highlight within notes

So I love how when I do a zotero search, it finds words within notes or indexed PDFs. However, I cannot search within the notes to find the reference to the word I just searched. I usually copy the notes to a text editor (I use Sublime) and then search there.

I propose maybe one of these two enhancements could be made for this issue:
1) Provide a simple search field within the notes editing window
2) Within a search view, when I open notes with search hits, the search term could be highlighted so I can easily scroll to it and find what I am looking for

Anyway, just a thought. Thanks to all Zotero developers for the amazing work!

the fact that notes aren't searchable is a bug -- a longstanding one and one with no easy solution in sight, but everyone agrees they should be searchable.

Providing some type of context for search results (think google snippets), though likely not highlighting in the results, has long been planned, though might still take some time. It's quite difficult, interface wise, with the current framework on which Zotero is built (the search technology is actually in place)

Not exactly hard work to copy-paste-search, but I thought I would mention it thinking it was a simple omission.

I read elsewhere that the Notes editor is TinyMCE.
I assume it is known that there is a plugin to add search to that editor:
