Standalone - Word Plugin (Windows 7 on network)
Problem with Zotero standalone for Windows - installed on a Win 7 version on a network (I have a level of admin rights enough to install and make changes.)
When I try to insert a reference I get the following message:
Zotero could not load the component required to communicate with your word processor. Please ensure that the appropriate extension is installed and try again.
Extension is installed however: (1) Microsoft Word 2010 [Authorization plugin NPAPI] (2) Microsoft Office 2010 [The plug-in allows you to open and edit files using Microsoft Office application]
I have these two installed. And - btw - I apparently cannot uninstall them: no button to do so.
Can anybody help?

adamsmithCommunicating between programs in a network environment can be tricky, but in any case, you're looking at the wrong extensions: you should check Zotero extensions under tools-->add-ons in Zotero and make sure the Word add-on is enabled (it'll almost certainly be installed).
