Excluding fields (DOI, catalog) from citation

Hi,
First of all, thanks so much for all the info on this forum. And thanks to fbennett for your help on my last post.
I have noticed that my zotero (with personalized citation style) now includes DOI and catalog website in the citation in word. Does someone know how to exclude these from citations?

we'd need to see your personalized citation style (post to gist.github.com or pastebin.com and link to from here. Then also provide a citation as you get it and as you'd like it.

Sorry, but I've never used github ot pastebin. How to I post it? I cannot open my .csl file (or can I?)

Here is the citation I get :

how did you edit the citation style in the first place?
You can open it in any text editor (notepad, TextEdit) then select all, copy, paste to the window on gist.github.com click the create public gist button at the bottom, and post the link here.

Either that's not the style you're using or you have "En ligne: CrossRef, DOI: 10.1016/j.ijlp.2011.07.002" somewhere other than in the DOI field, which isn't used at all in the style. Maybe in the Series field?

Sorry I can't seem to find any other csl file on the computer.
I can't send you a pic but all the fields are properly filled in zotero.

Try if you get the same in the test pane:

If so, copy the style from there to a new gist.

I don't know what to tell you. "DOI" does not occur in that style (you can search it) so like I said -- either it's coming from somewhere other than the DOI field or you're not actually using that style.

I'm trying to remove the doi from my citations, at the request of a journal editor. I have opened the style .csl doc, but it seems to be only a stub? If I paste this into the style editor I get the same Bibliography format as I get in word, with the doi, but the .csl text doesn't include any of the <macro> or doi wording (or any specific information that seems editable to me). How can I edit this?
The entire .csl doc is pasted below. I have downloaded twice and get the same result. Help?

This style is dependent on: http://www.zotero.org/styles/springer-basic-brackets

You'd want to create a new style from that independent parent style and edit it to suit your tastes.

thanks noksagt, that's helpful. I guess I sort of did that, I was able to successfully download a different Springer .csl and edit that one to meet my needs. So thank you for validating this approach!
