site translation not working correctly for ESA and NRC journals

Hello:

Zotero is not correctly translating article references from websites of both Ecological Society of America (ESA) and Canadian National Research Council (NRC) (I'm looking at Canadian Journal of Forest Research).

When I am on article page for either (with title, info, and abstract), both show 'embedded RTF' icon in address line, and save citation in 'webpage' format with various pieces of info mis-translated.

I'm using version 1.5 - sync 3.8

    I just opened a ticket for the ESA site. For the time being you can click you the export to citation manager button and just tell the site to export to Endnote, Zotero will intercept that. https://www.zotero.org/trac/ticket/1380

    Just to say this ticket seems still to be open.

    I was also unable to translate from:

    I had to go to "export to citation" and download the PDF separately.

    I'm also having ESA translator problems. From the abstract pages, I can download individual articles but the associated pdf is not downloaded even though my institution has access and my preferences are set properly (and working for other sites). Furthermore, I'm trying to download multiple articles at once from the Issue page (i.e. "February 2009"). The usual zotero folder does not appear on the toolbar to allow me to select multiple articles. And as the previous commenter noticed, the ticket is still technically open...perhaps because this was only partially resolved. I and presumably others would appreciate a full fix to this translator for a rather high impact journal. Thank you!

    The ticket has not been worked on. Zotero is currently falling back on the DOI lookup system, which can't attach PDFs. I'll add this to my queue of translators to fix, but there are a lot to work on, so I won't promise a quick fix.
